Dr. F. Stan Rodgers - Founder and Chairman of Directors.

Stan Rodgers served sixteen years in the Australian Armed Services, mainly in the Armoured Corps Division. During this period he designed the National Service Programme. At the end of his military career he retained the rank of Colonel.

Upon his retirement from the armed services he established the company known as Staff Training Centre Pty. Limited and consulted to many international companies (as shown in the Message from the Founder).

Subsequently he developed the Advanced Reading Skills Course and has successfully marketed the course throughout many countries of the world. His passion for higher education is borne out by the millions of successful participants who have undertaken the course.

W. Robert Scott – Director – International Marketing

Robert Scott is a former member of the New South Wales Parliament (Legislative Council) being the oldest Legislature in Australia.   He was the youngest person ever elected in the first one hundred and fifty years to that Legislature.
 
Robert is a recipient of the highly prestigious Order of Bernardo O’Higgins Medal (Grand Commander) being the highest honour awarded by the Chilean Government to foreign citizens.  He is also a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal.  

Robert has been a successful private Property Developer for some 30 years.  He has been  involved in all facets of the industry from hundreds of house/land packages to large scale residential subdivisions, regional shopping centres and major commercial and industrial developments.     

Robert has an enormous depth of business experience, has always been at the forefront of community involvement and has served as an Honorary Patron of many organisations.  He is highly respected by all who deal with him on either a personal, business or Government level.

Geoffrey R. Neilson – Director –International Finance

Geoffrey Neilson is a Member of Australian Institute of Export and is a former International Banker.  Geoffrey worked with the Australia New Zealand Banking Group Limited for some 18 years and throughout his tenure held various senior roles within the areas of Retail Banking, International and Trade Finance, Commercial /Business Banking including 3 years with ANZ Grindlays Bank based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Geoffrey’s financial expertise has been used by a number of Australian financial institutions to develop and source a range of commercial lending products for distribution to the property development industry.

For many years he has owned and operated a highly successful company known as Joslan Securities Pty. Limited which aside from the traditional property funding avenues also includes advising clients on Trade Finance (Import/Export Contract etc.) matters, Infrastructure Transactions (both on and off shore) as well as Structured Finance for  expansive complex property developments.

Geoffrey is highly regarded within the finance and business communities of Australia and Internationally throughout those countries with which he has had a long term business association.  

Terry Hilliard – Dean of Studies and Director of Teacher Training

Terry served 22 years in the Royal Air Force.  His distinguished career spanned many disciplines.  He was a Bomber Pilot, and Qualified Flying Instructor, Special Duties Thermo-Nuclear Sampler, Strategic Reconnaissance Pilot and Staff Officer. Four years of his time in the Royal Air Force was spent instructing at Oxford University.
 
Terry conducted his own Advanced Reading Skills centre in Sydney, Australia  and during this time, for a period of 10 years he was a Director of a company overseeing and co-ordinating 26 Improved Reading Centres in different locations throughout the country.  

For the past 16 years Terry has introduced the Advanced Reading Skills Course to new centres and trained course instructors in East and West Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Venezuela, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Taiwan, Luxemburg, Greece, Denmark, Switzerland as well as various parts of the United Kingdom.

He is the Dean of Studies and Director of Teacher Training of Improved Reading Centres International, Sydney Australia.
